Tibbals Lake is one of the larger lakes in the Quimper Wildlife Corridor. Like all of the wetlands, it goes through a cycle from wet to dry. Five years ago, the water was 4 to 5 feet higher than now. A drying cycle ensued and the lake was completely dry two years ago. Now it is coming back. Other wetlands in the area follow the same cycle.

Tibbals Lake is on private property.
