The Quimper Wildlife Corridor is a “ribbon ofgreen” stretching all across the North Quimper Peninsula. This 3.5-milegreenbelt of native vegetation follows a series of wetlands that makeup the natural drainage corridor, and provides habitat for birds, migrating rough skinned newts, small mammals and occasionally a largeone – cougar and bear. It also provides natural stormwater treatmentand trails for area residents for hiking, biking and bird watching. -- Jefferson Land Trust
